You know the number. Do you know what it’s made of?

Most tools show your net worth rising and leave you guessing. Monverdo is built on a real double-entry engine, so it can show you which part was you, how it changed historically, which part was the market, and which part was just currency changes.

THE PROBLEM

Real wealth doesn't fit a transaction tracker.

Real wealth spreads across banks, brokers, properties and currencies. Almost nothing reconciles it into a single, trustworthy view. Monverdo was built in South Africa, on the hardest version of that problem: more than one currency, more than one country, wrappers with their own tax treatment. Solve that and the simpler cases follow. The global trackers don’t speak rand; the local apps never went deep enough. Transaction trackers can’t produce a real net worth statement. Business accounting software was never built for retirement funds and rental properties. Spreadsheets break the moment a statement format changes. Monverdo closes the gap. It brings the rigour of real accounting to individual wealth: rand-and-dollar views, statement imports from banks and brokers, an account structure that reflects how your money is actually held.

WHY, NOT JUST WHAT

Know why your wealth changed, not just that it did.

Most apps show your net worth as a line that rises and falls. They flatter your contributions as performance and leave you guessing. Monverdo answers the question they can’t: why did your wealth move this period? It walks from your opening net worth through each real driver: what you saved, what your investments returned, what your properties earned, what currency moved, what tax took, and lands on where you actually stand. The quarter your offshore portfolio rode a weaker rand looks very different from the quarter you simply saved hard. You see which.
